The telecommunications industry is laying huge potential upon the growing value-added services (VAS).

During the recently concluded VAS Asia 2010 conference, held in New Delhi, industry experts have estimated that the prospect of Value Added Services becoming a huge industry. They believe that  VAS will have a turnover of Rs 100,000 crores annually by 2020.

According to OnMobile Chairman and CEO Mr. Arvind Rao VAS would be a “transformational force” and even by 2015 when its turnover would rise from Rs. 15,000 crores now to Rs 50,000 crores it would be a larger industry than advertising or media.

Its been while we launched VASJobs.com i.e last year in February. Since then we have slowly and steadily grown and got acceptance in the market. With job postings coming from about 32 countries, the need for a better platform was imminent. Till now VASJobs is a simple job board where companies can post their jobs and candidates apply. There were lot of requirements put by our esteemed recruiters to bring in lot of features like candidate search etc..

We had been working on a new sexier looking and an extensive platform for the VAS & Telecom industry for the last few months which is almost getting ready which we plan to do a soft launch on 14th June.

Also we have done a massive extension to the Categories list to cover more of mobile technologies taking the focus to the mass mobile technology related jobs.

We have made some changes to the header in the home page. We were getting lot of user feedbacks  and as a result made it more user friendly.
