Recession out – hiring In – Indian Telecom/VAS employers start hiring.
According to market reports Indian employers have started hiring. Although at slower pace but they have started saying bye to recession and layoffs and are now shaking hands with new employees.
VAS companies have started hiring for replacements and started filling up 2-10 years experienced positions.Middle-Senior level recruitment’s have also gone up. Mobile VAS Companies like IMI Mobile,ComViva,One97,Hungama,Mauj,Nazara, OnMobile, Phoneytunes have started recruiting. Some of these companies are expanding globally majorly in Middle East & Africa markets and hence recruitment activities have started.
With new Telecom operators aggressive on rolling out, requirement for Telco’s have gone up and there is a huge requirement in this sector.
This quarter has started showing lot of job postings at VASJobs.com and we are hopefully Job postings are going to go up gradually as the market opens. More and more candidates are now looking to apply for fresh positions and its a very positive sign.
Salaries are going to be stable at this moment and companies have lot of options to pick the right professional. I expect the January quarter to be more action oriented as hiring goes up.
